Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary – The Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary, which has a total size of 1,545 square kilometers and a buffer zone of 420 square kilometers that includes sections of the Trashi Yangtse, Lhuntshe, and Mongar districts, is situated in the northwest of Bhutan. Its northern and eastern international boundaries are shared with India and the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. The sanctuary is home to almost 100 different animal species, including some critically endangered ones like the red panda, snow leopard, and Royal Bengal tiger.
